Form Populating with Wrong Information

This is a strange one... two different sales people reported today that when they click on a link to our email subscription landing page, the form pre-populates with someone elses's email, name, phone, etc. They each see a different lead's information. What could be causing this, and most importantly how do I know this isn't happening to external users? I confirmed that they have never filled out a form on these leads' behalf.  (This is a MKTO form and LP in case that's not clear.)

This is a key reason why we turn off form pre-fill completely (especially since we are a global company and operate in countries with very strict privacy laws).  To find out why this is happening, check out this informative post: Why am I seeing someone else's information pre-filled in my form?

Thank you for the article, Dan. I searched before posting, but I missed that one! I think I have a good idea now of why this happened to these 2 individuals and now my wheels are turning about turning off auto-fill...
