Re: event registrations - email address

Hello community,

our annual Summits are comming up soon, and my marketing collagues want to build a "different" registration this year.
So if someone could help me, would be great!

So, what we need, is to have one email address used per registrant, and if the same email address is used with different contact details not to be accepted and ask the user to give another email address. Would something like this be possible with the marketo forms?

And additionally, is there any way to put a limit on registrations and close the form after the limit has been reached?

Looking forward for your answers!

Best regards

Ioulia

So what happens in the case where the email address is used again?  This is precisely the issue I want to work around.  Do they get a message that says "Sorry this email is already used" or something to that effect?

Thanks!

Thanks, Josh, for the reply.
Would that prevent the client from submitting the form when an email that has already been used previously is provided?

"You can tell the campaign to only let the lead run through Once. This is under Schedule."

So how would the client be notified that email Address has been used?

Marketo doesn't has any such direct feature in Forms to restrict the email to be submitted again and again. May be you'll need some Jquery to check the values and then match them to the submission with use of some tokens, but there's no direct option to do this with Forms.
