I read that the new customer engagement program allows you to set how often a lead can receive emails - "
Smart Engagement - automatically limits email frequency, alerts when content is exhausted, and avoids sending the same content twice
However, I can't work out how to set up the email frequency limits. Are they simply referring to the cadence here? If so, this is disappointing, I was hoping that there would be a new setting that could be used across programs in some intelligent way.
Anybody? There doesn't seen to be anything in the articles, I have worked my way through them all today.
The email frequency feature is called Communication LImits. This will allow you control the number of emails a lead gets per day and over an X day rolling period. Customers with Select and Enterprise get this automatically. Standard customers can buy an add-on package that includes this plus additional engagement program capabilities.
Communication limits releases in July (currently scheduled for July 17).
As not an employee, I think this feature is an extended one. If you're on the standard or spark editions you won't get it for free. If you're on select you'll have it. Once again, i'm not an employe, but this is how I believe it to be.

How much will the "Communication Limits" cost. It's a feature my organization was very interested in. But after having to buck up for additional streams, I'm almost certain we won't be able to add any other features...
