Hi - I am setting up an engagement program/nuture program for leads that come in and are cold. We want to be able to trigger a follow-up by the inside sales team if a lead is in the nurture program and after 6 months of being in the program, their lead score is <10 (meaning not engaged). Does anyone know how to set this up in Marketo?
One approach is that when someone gets added to the engagement program, that would trigger a smart campaign. The smart campaign would wait 6 months and then create a task/send an alert with a conditional, if the score <10, create task or send alert, otherwise do nothing.
Thanks for that feedback. I've tried that but there is no way to set that 6
month period (spoke to Marketo Support).
How do you handle unengaged leads in an engagement program?

Hi Ashley Binford,
You can definitely set a wait step of 6 months, but it won't happen within an engagement stream. You will need to create a separate smart campaign, either as a child of the engagement program or somewhere else.
TRIGGER
Added to Engagement Program [Your engagement name]
FLOW
Wait 6 months
Send Alert: If Score <10, Send Alert x to Lead Owner, otherwise do nothing
Hi Justin, good idea. I think this would work but one question. In the flow
step when you pick lead score less than 10, it looks like you have to send
an email to alert the lead owner, does the lead name/email get pulled in?

Hi Ashley, yes you would do this using lead tokens. You can read about that here:
