Embedding Marketo forms on Instapage

Hi! I'm very new to Marketo... but I was hoping to get some insight from anyone who has embedded a Marketo form on an Instapage landing page. I know they have an integration, but due to GDPR compliance, we really need to use a Marketo form, and not the integration. My web designer was having some issues getting things to render correctly on Instapage and I was just hoping to hear if anyone had experience/success with this before I dove into the details.
