Embed code "functioning" but not posting to marketo

Hi, I am on a wordpress site and I am trying to add a marketo form without an iframe. I noticed the embed code you can retrieve from the form's template. This looks and validates correctly, but no results are populating in the marketo dashboard. Any ideas? do I have to white-list the domain?

Do you see any javascript errors in the developer tool of the browser?  So it sounds like the form actuallly renders?  I am not familar with wordpress but if there are NO javascript errors to indicate a problem, my guess is that there is an event handler listening to any form submission.  The event handler may not like something and cancel out OR it posted back to your CMS web page and our form simply got refreshed without submission
