Re: Emails in Smart List not receiving effort

We recently deployed an email where one of the Smart List critieria was "Email Is" with 12 separate email address. While the rest of the smart list deployed correctly (Marked "Use Any Filters"; one was a Member of SFDC campaign; the second was member of a list), this third criteria only delivered to SOME of the 12 email address. The contact records don't show a delivery attempt in their activity history.

Any ideas?

Hey Sarah, for the 12 email addresses have you checked that they're all eligible to receive emails? (Not marketing suspended, email invalid, unsubcribed, blacklisted, etc.) If any of these criteria are true, Marketo won't even show an attempted send.

Hi Sarah,

Are all of these 12 email addresses added as Leads in your Marketo database? In order to send an email to them, they need to be added as Leads first.
