Email validation service

Who do you all use for an email verification tool for checking emails before we import them into Marketo and send emails?

Re: Email validation service

1. Kickbox:
  • Integrates directly with Marketo, allowing you to automatically verify emails as they are added to your lists or through form submissions.

Don’t believe Kickbox integrates “directly” with Marketo at all.

Not only does it lack a client-side integration with Marketo forms (and it’s impossible to build one), it just integrates on server-side via webhook — no more, no less. Nothing specially Marketo-aware about it!

2. ZeroBounce:
  • Provides an API that integrates with Marketo, enabling you to verify email addresses as they are added or imported into the platform.

ZeroBounce does have an actual Marketo integration using the REST API, yep.

If we’re recommending products then BytePlant’s Email Validator should be included. You can build a client-side integration between BP and Marketo forms for a pre-check and also post-check using a webhook. It also has batch operations for pre-checking lists, like all such services.

Note every email validation service is based on the same concept, as I described in this post just the other day:

Is an email address that requires encryption (STARTTLS) a “valid email”? It depends

Re: Email validation service

Hi @BermMarketing

Hope you are doing well.

For verifying emails before importing them into Marketo, you can use  Kickbox or ZeroBounce. These tools offer integrations with Marketo and can help clean your email lists by verifying the validity and deliverability of email addresses.

1. Kickbox:
  • Integrates directly with Marketo, allowing you to automatically verify emails as they are added to your lists or through form submissions.
2. ZeroBounce:
  • Provides an API that integrates with Marketo, enabling you to verify email addresses as they are added or imported into the platform.
  • Offers AI-powered email scoring to assess the activity of inbox and provide a confidence level for email deliverability.
  • Helps identify invalid addresses, spam traps, and other risky email formats.

Please check. Hope that would helpful.

Thanks!!

Re: Email validation service

@BermMarketing,

Why are you importing emails the first place?

Why not have a set of reusable email modules built into a template, and build the emails directly in Marketo?

Or are you trying to validate email addresses?

Cheers

Jo
