Email Suspended

Do i need to set smart campaign to run weekly to resent leads that have become "Email Suspended?"  Or will these leads begin receiving emails after the 24 hour pause period?

They should start to receive emails again after 24 hrs.

The "email suspended" box in the UI does not reset, so once a lead is set email suspended, they will always show email suspended is true. That isn't the case on the back end, though. 24 hours after the time in the "email suspended at" field, the lead will again be available for email.

Autumn, what happens if the email is delivered successfully?  Does the "Email Suspended" checkbox get unchecked to reflect this - or will it always remain checked?

Indeed, the box always stays checked. We are looking at changing this at some point in the future, but for now, use the email suspended at timestamp for an indication of what is suspended.

Will "email suspended" always show up as "TRUE" within any report as well?

Hello Dan,

Yes. You'll need to look at email suspended in past 24 hours to find leads that are still in the suspension period. Email suspended will show as true, both in the database and in any reports or smart lists you look at.

If the email suspended flag is set to true and is always checked, does this mean that the user will NEVER receive an email as long as this flag is true?
