Hello!
So we are working on implementing new email templates. They look great, but when you get delivered the email to our outlook inboxes and click to "download Images" this can take upwards to 30 seconds to load. This isn't a new issue, we had this issue with our old templates as well. We reached out to the developers and they ensured us that they use these templates for every client they build templates for and that there isn't an issue. Luckily this issue seems to be only internal for what we can tell (if you send it to a gmail account or external outlook it loads as expected), but we are concerned if another company has a similar set up, that this could be experienced externally.
What we've tried:
I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this issue/if anyone has any other ideas we can try to decipher the problem.
Thank you,
Joshua
@Foden ,
without seeing the templates and the images it is hard to diagnose.
Are you sourcing your images from within Marketo, or are the coming of a 3rd party site?

Jo
Hi Jo,
Sorry for the late reply, was out for the holiday. I understand the difficulty without being able to look at the template.
To answer your question, I am using images that we are hosting in Marketo itself, same way I have done at other companies without issue.

@Foden ,
without seeing the templates or images it is nigh on impossible to diagnose.
My guess is that there is something in the corporate infrastructure causing it (virus scanner or similar).
Cheers
Jo
