We are sending an email with dynamic content to a really large number of subscribers. We'd like to try sending to a smaller number of people first (around 1,000) to test performance. Is there a way to do this?
I know I could play around with filters until we get a list around1,000 and then back them out later on when we go to send to the remaining. But I was looking for an easier solution. Thanks!
You can populate a list with a Random Sample % that approximates your desired count. It's not the same as a count, though. To truly pluck N people off a list you'd need to use a webhook to count up to the limit.
Thanks for responding. With a random sample %, can I back those people out when I go to send the campaign to all qualified recipients? I don't want to risk sending it to people twice.
Just filter on Not Member of List.
