Email performance reporting list does not tally

Hi, I am trying to run an email performance report and am a bit confused with something. Can somebody help please?
When I go into my smart campaign, I can click on the "results section," which shows me a list of who I sent the email to and all the activities (ie. send, delivered, bounces, open, click). Here, I have the option to export the list in excel.
However, I also ran a new local asset > report > email performance, which shows me the same information. But the figures in the two reports don't tally?
The sent, delivered figures are the same. But the opened, clicked and unsubsribed are different. 
Any ideas on why they are different? Many thanks

Can you check the Report Setup and Smart Lists? Date Sent and Created Date of Lead can affect these reports.
