We rely on Marketo’s Email Performance Report for reporting outside of our CRM, and I’m trying to confirm whether something is possible.
Is there a way to prevent a specific link from being counted in the Clicks/Click % metrics without doing either of the following?
Using mktNoTrack (we still want to see the click in the Activity Log and Smart Lists), or
Removing the link from Smart List filters (which removes the people entirely — not what we want)
We have cases like an EPC link where this “click” isn’t true engagement, so we don’t want it inflating our email performance metrics, but we do still want to keep the people and maintain visibility into their activity.
Has anyone found a way to exclude a link from Email Performance Report click calculations while still keeping the click activity and the people intact?
