Hi All,

I'm trying to figure out what's going on with some of my emails. A smart list filter is filtering out too many respondents.

When I have a clause in the smart list that says:

"Not was sent email: Contains "Meeting""

Does that exclude emails that contain the word meeting in the subject line, the text of the email, or simply the name of the email as saved in marketo?

Hi Brian,

That pertains to the name of the email in Marketo, not the subject line or content of the email. Only the sales email filters let you use subject lines as constraints.

From my understanding of that filter it would be based off of the Subject itself.

So the subject line of the email? Or the name of the email in marketo. For example would an email called "meeting request" in marketo with a subject line of "Thank you for your download" be filtered?
