Email a/b testing for a sub-set of a smart list

Hey all,

I'm familiar with creating a/b tests based on allocating a certain percent to each email I'm testing, but do any of you have experience with creating a random sample size to begin with? In this case, I have a smart list that I was going to use to identify leads within a specific vertical, but I'd really like to limit to pull in a random 250 leads into each of my test groups (4 groups total, 1,000 leads).

Does anyone know how I can pull 1,000 random leads from that smart list? Thanks in advance!

Hi Trask! Here's an article on how to build A/B testing smart campaigns by using random samples: http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000Kyt2CAC. Hope this helps!
