Creating Mapped Hyperlinks? Is it Possible?

Is there a way to add say a mapped hyperlink to only a portion of an image instead of having to link the entire image as one huge hyperlink? I have one section of a JPEG that I want to be able to be clicked, but the only way I know right now is to hyperlink the entire image.
