Creating a SFDC Task - "Related To" filed is empty

We created a task in Marketo to write back to Salesforce where a planner/owner is assigned a task but the field "Related to" as you can see in the screenshot below is empty.

Here we want the user to flow in the "Related to" field so that the planner gets to know which user/lead is to be served.

Is there any way we can have 'related to' field populating with the corresponding user/lead through Marketo.

Re: Creating a SFDC Task - "Related To" filed is empty

Hi there,

Based on this previous community post it should be relating the task to the corresponding lead/contact. Is "Marketo101 User101" the name of the lead/contact or the name of the "owner" in this example? It looks like there's a different name, "Ram", under "Assigned To" which leads me to believe that Marketo101 User101 is actually the lead/contact, which is the association you are wanting to see - it's already there.

If Marketo101 User101 is in fact the owner rather than the lead/contact: In your screenshot the "Related To" field you highlighted is showing only an Account lookup. Is there anything else under the Related tab on the left? If you're stuck and looking for a workaround, you can also reference the lead's name, etc., in either the task subject or the task comments per the "Create Tasks" Marketo Docs page .
