Create task on opportunity

Is there a way to have the "Create Task" in Marketo create a task on an opportunity?

I don't believe so. We don't have a good way of telling what opportunity you want it on, so we just allow making them on the Lead/Contact.

When triggers are done via an Opportunity, perhaps tasks could be created against the opportunity that triggered it?

Could opportunities be listed in a dropdown in the task box in Marketo? So where you assign who the task should go to, you also assign which opportunity it should be tasked against?
