Contact records not showing in MKTO

We use person accounts in SFDC. All of our person account records show in MKTO, but those created as actual CONTACTS in SFDC do not show in MKTO. How do we make the contacts as well as person accounts show? The profile in SFDC has view all and modify all on the contacts objects. Why would Marketo see contacts and person account contacts as any different?

It may see Person Accounts as a Custom Object. Can you go to Admin > SFDC and look for it under Custom Objects?
 

I haven't heard of this situation before, so you may need to discuss with Support or a Consultant.
