Contact/Lead Ownership Sharing and Sales Insight

In our SFDC Org we utilize the Account Team feature and our multiple sales teams understand they may 'share' certain Contacts which causes problems with viewing My Best Bets in Sales Insight as obviously they can't both literally own the Contact so it only shows up in one of their views when ideally it would show up for both.

Was hoping to get feedback here from others who may have a similar business model and how you handled it in context of Sales Insight.

Hi Lauren - we're getting ready to deploy SI and we have this same problem. What I'm going to test out is as part of the training telling our team to create a custom view for each tab, where filter = Account Manager (their name) or Inside Sales Rep (their name) - filters aligning to the fields we have on each account that puls from the Account Team object.  A little annoying we have to train sales people on creating and using views in Salesforce.com - since we all know how sales people are. But, this seems like the only option since we can't modify the global setting
