Our Marketo instance doesn't have a strong email database. We will have to rely on Direct Mail to get customers to our webform to update their details and email address. We are looking to create a situation where a customer receives a letter in the post, visits a unique URL, populates unique details e.g. first name, last name and product code, and this validates their details (probably via Salesforce) and displays back their known data (including product information in a read only view) and they can update their contact details including email, which then append to that record in Salesforce/Marketo and we can email this customer in the future. I understand there could be security issues with this approach, but putting that aside, does anyone have a good solution for achieving this with Marketo and Salesforce?
This is what Marketo pURLs are for: direct mail, a personalized page, and room to enter more details. See the docs.
