Click to call in emails

Hi All,

I am trying to set up click to call using the following code in an email:

<a href="tel:+1-303-499-7111">+1 (303) 499-7111</a>

Outside of Marketo this code works although not within an eDM.

Does marketo not support this code?

I was overcomplicating it and editing the template directly which was acting up. Much better this way.
