Re: Changing first cast date on active nurture stream

I'd like to change the send time for future emails in an active nurture stream.

When I open up the dialog box to switch the time, it requires that i change the time of the "first cast" to a current date.

If i change that date to today, will that affect the members that have already gone through 2 out of 3 of the emails in that stream?

Thanks!
Leila

Hi Leila,

Yes it will : it will create a cast for today, meaning that if a lead has already received 2 emails, he/she will receive the 3rd one today.

The recommendation here is to set the new start date as close as possible to what would have been the next cast anyway.

I've never done this myself before. However, I don't think it should. Typically it decides who get's the email based on who was sent the email previously. If you aren't changing the name of the email I would think that the date/send time should not affect this concern.
