Cant paste into text box

I dont seem to be able to paste copied text into text boxes. This is not an issue with my computer as I can copy and paste into word/notepad etc.

I think this may be linked but I also lose the cursor and can not do anyting in the text box.

Are you able to advise on how I can fix this?

The fact you can paste into MS-Office is unrelated since they are desktop-based applications.

It is a potential symptom of a browser experiencing problems caused by an outdated JavaScript engine and/or cache+cookies.

What browser and respective version are you using?
Can you paste into other web applications such as GMail or Wordpress?
