Hi guys,

I've created and approved a snippet containing the sales rep signature.

In my template, I've made the signature as Editable.

Now, when I create en email using that template, I assign the "Signature" as a Dynamic Content using the segmentation of the territories.

I want to assign the Snippet to that dynamic content, but the option is grayed out.

What step am I missing?

Thanks!

Ok, I replied before I saw the shots.

Can you try clicking on the Static area to replace the Static area with a snippet? Since the snippet is already dynamic, maybe that is what it wants you to do.

As Kristen suggests, you have to use Segmentations to make the snippet dynamic first. I imagine you want to auto assign the Lead Owner's info in the signature based on territory rules.

Remember, snippets are special pieces of content that you can drop into assets so you can change it once and have it change everywhere.

Is your snippet dynamic?

Aren't they all? As they are based on a segmentation?

You do not have to make the snippet dynamic at all. Clearly, that is the best use, but when they first came out, it was just about making the email footer (for example) easier to edit across the system.

Perhaps you set the snippet segmentation and the email's segmentation differently and that is why there is a problem.
