Can marketo publish an events calendar?

I've been tasked with trying to find a solution for a calendar tool that would work across several of our web sites, where our team could enter events in to marketo and then have a calendar of them display on our web sitet(s).

There would be several parameters our team would need to choose (like which of our sites the events would appear on, what type of event, who the traget audinece was, as well as event description info), then a calendar of these events would be iframed in to each individual site.

We would manage all the events themelves thru marketo (registration, invites, thank you emails, open rates, etc.), but if there was one solution that would also display the events in some kind of a calendar format, that would be great.

Does anyone know if marketo can do something like this, or if there is a thrid party tool that could plug in to marketo and do this?

Marketo announced at the summit that they'd be rolling out a calendar later this year.

We've been looking for a tool like this for over a year -- we currently manage everything through a google doc!

Don't hold your breath. A calendar has been on the "roadmap" for over 2 years. Marketo is falling down miserably on this feature... If you search the community for Marketing Calendar you will see repeated messages form Marketo saying "we love the idea and its coming...."

While we've been waiting for the Marketo calendar we have started using teamworkpm.net (similar to basecamp) for our production calendar. We don't publish anything from Marketo to the calendar but the calendar reflects all of our programs and campaigns.

Thanks to all for the input. Seems like there is a real need here - it could be quite the app to be able to manage events from end to end as well as display them on your site all thru Marketo (are you listening, Marketo?). Or maybe even an opportunity for a 3rd party developer?

Loud and clear! It is definitely getting released within the next few months. I've seen screen shots and it's going to be game changing. I've been begging for this feature for awhile as well. 🙂

Haven't heard anything definite, not being in the HQ office has some drawbacks. I want to say sometime in July, but don't quote me on that. 🙂
