Can I create a task on the opportunity level in Salesforce using Marketo?

Hello,

I'm currently running a campaign in Marketo and I would like to log a task/activity to the opportunity instead of the contact in SF. Adding the "Create Task" filter in the flow action of a smart campaign will add the task/activity to the contact... so that didn't work for me. Is there any way I can use Marketo to do what I'm looking for?

Any feedback would be great.

Hey Andrew,

Unfortunately you cannot. Marketo can really only see Opps, but has no ability to change/add to them. The only way I could think of is an elaborate process involving Mkto and SFDC flow steps with custom fields.
