Hi there! Has anybody worked on a Campaign Monitor to Marketo Migration? Would appreciate getting some help as to what the process is/how you have managed the migration.
Thanks!

What sort of migration were you referring to (especially since CM is an email service provider, whereas Marketo is complex marketing automation platform)? If you're referring to emails, you're probably out of luck if you're hope was to do some sort of magical migration to Marketo email templates. Marketo uses a proprietary framework - especially their email 2.0 editor. As far as the database, it should be fairly easy to export the names from CM and import them into Marketo. You may need to create some additional custom fields based on the data that exists in CM. Will you be integrating with a CRM platform?
What is "Campaign Manager"? Do you mean Campaign Monitor?
Hey Dan! Sorry. Yes - Campaign Monitor.

Basically everything. But more specifically, emails (which I could see is a no) and the database. We haven't really worked with Campaign Monitor in the past so don't have visibility of what can be/can't be done in it - this is definitely a good starting point.
Re integrating with a CRM platform - not at this stage.
Thanks Dan!
We used to use CM years ago (before Eloqua and Marketo). They provided a great toolset for the market they were targeting (do-it-yourself marketers with little budget). Even today, they have features that rival the biggest players in the marketing technology space.
