Best practices for AdWords campaign influence?

Does anyone have any tips for attributing AdWords campaign influence in Marketo without having to create new Marketo campaigns for each AdWords campaign? We currently capture information on which campaigns sourced through a value that we pass through a form, but we are wondering if anyone has tips and tricks on mapping campaign influence to specific AdWords campaigns.

All of the information you need to do this comes across from adwords when it refers traffic and munchkin writes it to the field original source. The key is parse this data that exists in Marketo and pass it via workflow to the SFDC campaigns that will give the framework you will need to define marketing source pipeline. Try using a token to parse the referring URL.

Thanks, Jerry! To clarify, will this just pass the adwords campaign source? We currently are doing just that for sourced leads, but we're specifically looking to understand campaign influence (i.e. leads that already existing in our database but are clicking and engaging with content from our ads).
