Enginering is currently reviwing the feature. It is likely to remain absent for a short period.

Oh no! please bring it back ASAP! I am lost without it!

The spell check feature is no longer supported by google and therefore does not work.  So having it there would produce incorrect results as it would not catch any spelling errors  We will have some resolution to this in the near future (probably a month or so).
