After Rename existing form name, updated form name not reflected in notification email

Hi Team,

I have created form on marketo then will set token get form name in email program its working fine.

But after few days will rename it  then facing issue to get updated form name in notification email its showing old form name

For EX. formnameabc renamed to formnamexyz but notification email still show formnameabc.

Please help me out how updated form name should reflected in notification email.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Current flow as follows.

We have created Campaign, Smart list contains Fill out form with matching form name and within flow we added send alert on choice and send notification email (Custom Email template created with dynamic values send using token to send forms fillout) to internal team.

Within Email Template we used  {{lead.formName:default=Form}} to captured the form name so we can track form name.

It isn't clear how you're filling out this custom field formName. That's not a built-in field, so wherever you're populating it is where you'd make the change.

However, I see no reason for you to use a custom field.  If the Smart Campaign trigger is Fills Out Form, then the built-in token {{trigger.name}} always contains the name of the form that triggered the Smart Campaign.

Hi @SanfordWhiteman ,

Sorry my bad. Have passed default static value in form corrected now!

Also can markto has some default templates like PARDOT where we don't need to create custom Email template for notification its pulled automated form fields which we have added in form and send in notification Email.

Marketo doesn't have that currently but there is a special token {{SP_Send_Alert_Info}}. This token pulls up some useful information that needs to be in an alert email. You can read more about it here: https://docs.marketo.com/pages/releaseview.action?pageId=2952678
