Adding opportunities to a lead

I see fields available for Opportunity info, but no way to add opportunity data to them. Can anybody tell me how to do it?
And leads may have more than one opportunity, so how do we add them to a lead?

Hi Gustavo,

Opportunities can be synced from SalesForce or Microsoft CRM.
Besides that, I do not think there is a way to manually add opportunities via Marketo.

Hi Gustavo,

I agree with John - there's no way that I know of to add opportunities manually. However, you can use a custom API to connect the opportunities within any CRM. It's complicated, but doable!

Thanks, we are using a proprietary CRM.
Emily: when you say to use a custom API, you mean that the Marketo API does not support it?

Hi Gustavo,

Our CRM is not proprietary (we use ConnectWise), but one of our software developers that works at NetGain Technologies built our API. 

We do have a proprietary call prospecting software that he was also able to connect to Marketo. All of these connections are facilitated through a transitional data base.

I'm not very technical, so I do not understand all of the details, but I hope that helps!
