Hi David, are you trying to do a batch or triggered campaign? If it's a batch campaign, you cannot run a champion/challenger test here -- they only work on triggered campaigns. You would need to use an email program to accomplish this.
That said, our standard workaround is to create a list and have a triggered campaign that runs when someone is added to the list. Then, run a batch campaign to add everyone who you want to receive the mailing onto that list. This way, you can have a triggered campaign with the champion/challenger test.
