Add social icons to LP

I want to add social share icons to our LPs but Im unclear about the instructions I found in this doc: Add a Social Button to a Free-form Landing Page - Marketo Docs - Product Docs

I dont see widgets on my LP builder view. Can you only do this if you are not using a custom template? Why would someone not be using a custom template? How do I add social icons AND still use the templates I have paid tons of money to build without starting from scratch?

Hi,

You simply enter to https://www.addtoany.com/buttons/for/website, choose the buttons you want and click "Get Button Code".

Copy the script they give you, and paste it on your template script.

Yes - and if you dont know Marketo HTML, that is not possible. Hence the

reason for hiring out the work to someone who knows this. Thanks!!
