Activity before/after Unique Date

I'd like to identify leads that take an activity before a unique date, such as:

"Was sent email" before "Signup date", where signup date is different for each lead.

Is there a simple way to do this? I can't seem to find a way to create this logic in a smartlist or report.  If the leads were organized in a campaign the results could be exported and this could be done in excel, but what if we're looking at this data across multiple campaigns, is there way to group the data?

If the sign up date is different for each lead, I'm not sure you can do this inside Marketo.

The filters would return any lead who Was Sent Email Before Date "Jan 31, 2013" or between, on or after etc... 

So you can't do something like

Was Sent Email AND Email Was Sent Before Lead's Signup Date.

unless i've missed something. Eric or Elliott may be able to confirm.

Josh is correct, Marketo does not have a filter that compares field values in a lead record.  I would encourage you to vote for the Idea Add filter that allows comparing date values within a lead record.
