Hi All,
I'm working with my IT team to create a DNS record for our landing pages. I've noticed that our account string is labeled "mktoadmin" rather than a branded account string and mkto docs reference the DNS records as pointing to "mktoadmin.mktoweb.com". However, my IT partner is telling me that mktoadmin.mktoweb.com is not a valid DNS address on Marketo's side. Am I missing something here?

Your IT team is correct.
Open a support case -- you cannot use the account string mktoadmin.mktoweb.com. It looks like the placeholder was left in place in your instance.
Thanks, Sanford Whiteman! I've contacted Marketo Support and they are working on changing the account string.
Turns out this is a dummy account that I was erroneously added to.
