a/b testing

Hi

Can any one clearly explain what is the difference between "opens" and "click to open %" in a/b testing.

Hi Sujatha,

Suppose, you are doing AB testing on subject line:

Subject Line A: Test1

Subject Line B: Test2

Now out of these two which ever email has high open rate that will be consider as winner

Now Click to open% works on CTA basis. Eg.  If email A had 1000 opens and 40 clicks (4%) but email B had 200 opens and 20 clicks (10%), email B would be declared the winner even though the absolute number of people who clicked is lower.
