A/B test with mobile optimized landing page

I'm A/B testing or A/B/C testing a few landing pages with different layouts but one of the new layouts is mobile optimized.  What I'm wondering is if someone goes to that URL from a mobile device will they automatically be served the mobile optimized page or is there potential that they will get the other pages that aren't mobile optimized since it's testing all 3.

Re: A/B test with mobile optimized landing page

What happens is the test group itself has a URL. When someone visits that URL, the test group randomly displays one of the pages you've added to the test group. If the randomly selected page is "Mobile Enabled" then it will show the user the mobile optimized view you created in the LP Editor. If the randomly selected page is not "Mobile Enabled," then it won't.

ok so there is no guarantee that if they are on a mobile device that they will get served the mobile optimized page.  I didn't know if there was a capability within marketo that it knew the person was on mobile and served them the mobile optimized page.

Thanks!

Kari,

In the Landing Page Editor you will see two tabs: Desktop and Mobile. By default, a new landing page has only the Desktop view. You can add Mobile by clicking the tab and activating it. The test group will display one of the pages at random to the visitor. If that page has Mobile enabled, then they will see that view when viewing the page from a smartphone or smaller.
