A/B Test Results positive vs negative result numbers

I've conducted a few A/B tests now on email subjects. When testing opens, can anyone explain what the difference is between a positive and negative number in the A/B test results reported?

These are two different Marketo emails. I am guessing these are relative to some sort of baseline open rates. Does anyone know for sure?
