Working in a brand new Marketo instance. We turned on the initial SFDC sync yesterday afternoon. The sync just finished but approximately 50% failed to sync over. In other words, SFDC has roughly double the leads/contacts that are in Marketo. We did not create any kind of custom filter to prevent certain people from syncing over. It's the weekend so we can't call Marketo support. Any ideas as to what to look for?

Did you confirm that your Marketo Sync User is able to see all of those records in SFDC? (Log in to SFDC as the Marketo Sync User, and run a report of all leads and all contacts). If not, could be something with your sharing settings in SFDC.

Thank you so much! I don't know why I didn't think of that. When logged in as the sync user we can't see all the people. Working with our Admin to determine why and fix the sync user's profile. Thanks again!
