We have a 3rd party vendor that is directly integrated to our Marketo, pushing us leads and contacts regularly if they have responded to a marketing campaign. We're finding that the numbers the vendor reports does not match up to the numbers pulled in our Marketo/Salesforce. When I do a Vlookup against the file we're given from the vendor, we see multiple leads/contacts not in Marketo/Salesforce. Our endpoints have are confirmed to be correct. Anyone know what may be causing this?
Not nearly enough information here. Need to know the exact API endpoint they're using (and who knows if they're exceeding API limits, easy to do if they don't understand Marketo) and a log of specific HTTP requests that are acknowledged successfully by the Marketo API but which never enter Marketo.
Who do I get in touch with to view the logs that make the attempt to our instance which have failed? Is that via the code' that is using our API? Would we be able to see errors on that string of code?
The application that is connecting to your API endpoint must maintain logs of the requests and responses in order to debug.
