Congrats on making it through the Marketo Engage Mentorship Program 2024 👏

This is the last update I will be posting on here related to the mentorship program. It has been great meeting and working with you all and I am confident that you can take an PASS the exam! 

Heads up - If you applied for the exam voucher, you should have received an email last week with the voucher code. Please schedule the exam with this code (if you haven't already) and let me know if you have any questions. Don’t forget there is a 1-month expiration on this code so please don't wait or this offer will expire.

I felt its People performance report as it gives us the chance to filter people by any attribute of our choice.

I debated the People Performance report as well.  I went back and forth and I'm eagerly awaiting the answer from @ErinPollackQ2 , (I know, it's coming soon).

I used this resource as a reference: Group Person Reports by Attribute | Adobe Marketo Engage

In a People Performance report, you can group people by an attribute, and then add Job Title is "Manager" in the Smart List. They also have the option to add Opportunity columns! Add Opportunity Columns to a Lead Report | Adobe Marketo Engage

This was my thought process, but I'm also interested to see what the answer is.

I'm working through the study guide and it references that the practice exam is AD4-E555.

However, as I look at the practice exams available, the only one I'm seeing is AD4-E121.  

So, where would I find AD4-E555?

Any thoughts?  And, maybe they are the same exam.

For those who have already posted answers to this weeks quiz questions... it looks like we're all coming up with different answers.  This is exciting because it allows all of us to have a brief discussion as to what is the right answer.

So, I'll take the first stab and tell tell you what I was thinking - and I totally get that I may be wrong.  So, I'm looking forward to the dialogue (and I hope the rest of the group feels comfortable in sharing as well - if not...  that's ok).

My answer was #3 - People by Status Report.  

My logic:  

• I first ruled out the Email and the program performance reports and was left with the "People Performance Report" and the "People by Status" report.  
• Then, in looking at the definitions of the two reports in the Experience League documentation, I found that the:
  • People Performance Report - was showing more of database growth over time (a.k.a., how many leads did I generate this month)
  • People by Status report - was showing the persons status - E.g., Prospect, Customer, etc.
• In looking at the question, I zeroed in on the phrase "...people by opportunity type".  In my mind, this meant that they were customers, leads, MQL's, etc.
• Therefore, I choose #3 - the People by Status Report

(again... to our group... I'm open to different ways of thinking... so, please feel free to disagree... that's what this group is for - healthy debate)

My answer was 1 - True

My logic:  

• I pulled up the Email Insights report for our Marketo instance and put in a few filters as a way to test the question.  What I noticed is that the filters all acted upon the data that was being displayed... they weren't separated out.  So, I selected "True".

(again... to our group... I'm open to different ways of thinking... so, please feel free to disagree... that's what this group is for - healthy debate)

So, those are my answers and how I came to them.  I'm looking forward to the discussion.
