A is FALSE because to replace an existing image in Design Studio, you just need to upload new image
A is False. You do not have to delete the image from Design Studio to replace it with a new one.
A is false, replace will overwrite the selected file, keeping the original filename if the new one was different, so no deletion is required.
Hi @Amarjit_Hayer @rross1CY @KSBingham @khanson20 @aditik
Hope you’re having a lovely start to our 2nd week of this mentorship program!
This week, we will be focusing on (Section 2) Building Assets. Please run through the Exam Prep Guide and if possible, familiarize yourself with the actual configuration / interface through some hands-on in Marketo. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in this thread.
Gentle reminder to also attempt the week 1 quiz on (Section 1) Building and Managing Programs, if you have not done so. Looking forward to your questions and participation!
Hey Clement when uploading a image in design studio how can you change that image in all assets at the same time without having to go into each asset one by one. For example: If a logo block is used and something is added how will all assets be updated using that logo block?
Hey @rross1CY
The most efficient way is to replace that specific image in the Design Studio.
You can follow the steps listed here.
You will essentially be re-uploading the image without changing the file name / URL - thus the updated image will be reflected in all of your assets (e.g. emails, forms, landing pages).
Hope this helps!
Hi @KSBingham @rross1CY @Amarjit_Hayer @khanson20 @aditik
Here’s the quiz for this week on (Section 1) Building and Managing Programs:
Imagine your team has curated a valuable list of upcoming industry events and wants to collect leads by offering this gated content on your website.
Which type of program should you utilize to capture the leads through a form and send the curated list to these leads via an email?
Please reply to this message with your answer by Wednesday, 5 June. Look forward to finding out how well you understand the different types of program!
Hi @rross1CY @aditik @Amarjit_Hayer
Thanks for sharing your answers! The correct answer is B. Default Program
Loved that you went through a process of elimination to find your answer @Amarjit_Hayer 💯 The certification exam questions can get really tricky, often with more than 1 answers that sound right. Hence, I'd highly recommend using this elimination method to identify the most suitable answer.
So how did we derive the correct answer to be a Default Program?
Email Programs are able to send an email with the gated content, but it can only be scheduled to send one-time at a specified date and time. Moreover, a form cannot be created under an Email Program.
Engagement Programs are ideal for sending leads a series of emails at a specified frequency / cadence (e.g. every Monday, 8am) whereas in this scenario, we are only tasked to send 1 email whenever the form has been filled out.
This leaves us with either Event Program or Default Program as the correct answer. Both programs allow us to create a form and a trigger campaign to send an email whenever the form is filled out, ensuring the lead promptly receives the requested gated content.
However, Event Programs are typically used when we are keen on tracking and managing a lead's event status (e.g., "invited" > "registered" > "attended"), which is not required in this scenario. Therefore, the Default Program is the most suitable option ✔️
Hope this thought process also helps you in deciding which program to use for your own campaigns!
For event programs, what does the event date do, where you enter a start and end date/time? I am wondering if we haven't been using this correctly. For most events, we use an external system for registrations and attendance tracking/checking in. We only use Marketo for sending out invites and tracking the incoming registrations via web api calls and push those details to sfdc. The invite emails are scheduled manually, nothing automatic such as 3 weeks prior to the event send email etc. No event date seems to push through from Marketo to sfdc, which I manually have to add so our CASL consent date ties with the date of the event. If we had entered a date for the Marketo event program, in the setup, would that flow into sfdc as the event date?
I don't create these events, but am wondering if our naming convention where the date is mentioned, is only for visual/detail purpose, but no function?
Are you referring to specifying the event date under the Schedule View of an event program? I believe this is only useful if you are using the Marketing Calendar tab to plan and schedule your campaigns (note: a license is needed for this).
There used to be an event check-in mobile app which will require the event date to be specified before you can start viewing and marking the attendance for that specific event directly from a tablet. However, it seems that Adobe has discontinued this app since October 2023.
Without these, I personally have not specified / used the event date in a long time 😂
As for the naming convention of programs (example below), it is just a best practice to keep your programs organized.
e.g., [Abbreviation of Program Type] [YYYY]-[MM]-[Optional DD] [Brief Description]
I will be sharing the answer tomorrow. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this!
I believe it's the default program type.
Which type of program should you utilize to capture the leads through a form and send the curated list to these leads via an email?
Ans Email Program
I believe it will be a Default program if you're creating a form to collect names to send elsewhere after the event.

Glad to know all of you are actively using Marketo! Looking forward to helping you achieve your Adobe Marketo Engage Professional (AD0-E555) certification 🌟
I know preparation for the certification can feel daunting, so let's break it down and tackle 1 section of the exam each week.
Please run through the respective sections in the AME Professional Exam Prep Guide (requires login) and feel free to post any questions that come up along the way!
At the end of each week, I will also be posting a quiz to give you an idea of the possible exam questions and to test your knowledge on each section.
This week, let's focus on (Section 1) Building and Managing Programs. Unfortunately, it seems that the scope of this section listed in the Exam Prep Guide might not be accurate, so you may refer to the following scope instead.
Hey Clement when I click on the link for the AME Prep guide I receive a error message saying the page can't be found.
Hey @rross1CY
It seems to be a cache issue. Could you try opening the link in another web browser or incognito?
The link should redirect you to login to your Adobe account, before redirecting to the exam prep guide.
Hope this works! Let me know how it goes.
