Primary responsibilities:
- Own and take full accountability of lifecycle email programs from strategy to development to execution.
- Work with Marketing Managers to develop strategy of lifecycle email campaigns including acquisition, onboarding, retention, and winback triggered programs to engage our growing audience and oversee execution of campaigns.
- Optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, lifecycle management, personalization, creative, and dynamic content management.
- Develop and analyze key campaign metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting KPIs, retention, and revenue goals.
- Understand targeting criteria, segment the database using SQL and import the data into Marketo.
- Manage all campaign testing, QA and deployment scheduling.
You will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of online digital marketing and/or email marketing experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience building the strategy for email retention and/or two years of marketing automation experience preferred
- Active knowledge of SQL and databases
- Experience building email campaigns, analyzing key campaign metrics, and developing strategy for lifecycle email nurture campaigns
- Strong collaboration skills and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to motivate others
- Experience with ExactTarget and/or Marketo
- Knowledge of CAN SPAM laws
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required
