Skillz is a fast growing start-up based in San Francisco.  We need an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the marketing and sales database for greater campaign efficiency and effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot and test campaigns, workflows, data issues and other key marketing ops functions, e.g. bidirectional feedback loop between SFDC & Marketo required
  • Provide campaign analytics to other parties within marketing and document campaign performance
  • Assist in implementing and optimizing the Martech stack as it continues to grow
  • Manage and build campaigns, programs, drip & nurture programs and customer communications in Marketo
  • Manage and build lists for campaigns, import records, and manage a database
  • Provide exemplary service to internal customers such as sales, marketing program managers and executives 
  • Create process/policy and lead Marketo governance effort as critical, company-wide business process


  • Advanced user of Marketo (daily use for at least 2 years)
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Marketing/Sales Operations role or similar position.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets to concrete business recommendations for marketing and sales leadership with the goal to optimize revenue generating investments
  • Expertise in B2B marketing
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence and lead management processes and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal & written
  • Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player
  • Process and quality orientation with attention to detail
