This is a specialist level professional position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations
of the marketing and education department on the Global Innovation team. Current initiatives include the product lines of
Contract Documents, Architectural Adventures, AIA ARE prep and any future
businesses. The position reports to the Director, Global
Innovation Marketing but also supports the Director, Global Innovation
Education.
Job Duties:
Marketing– 80%
- Responsible
for inputting, executing, tracking, and measuring the success of email
marketing campaigns using marketing automation system (including database
maintenance, webinar and in-person event invitations, customer communications,
upsell/cross-sell emails, and lead nurturing campaigns) - Serve as the
marketing automation and CRM platform administrator: train new and existing
users, administer and manage licenses, stay abreast of the latest releases and
updates, manage the vendor relationship - Work with
designer to develop and optimize landing pages to support marketing campaigns
and generate leads - Optimize email
performance through A/B testing, personalization and content strategy - Manage
prospect and customer databases.
Maintain data integrity, list uploads, target segmentation, and touch
cadences. - Develop procedures
to ensure appropriate campaign tracking is in place to provide meaningful
metrics including, but not limited to, campaign performance, lead performance
and landing page performance. - Identify
marketplace trends, tools, and technologies that drive online acquisition and
higher quality of leads. - Maintain all Global
Innovation content on the aia.org website. - Serve as
project coordinator for paid advertising and manage lead activity through marketing
automation system. - Coordinate
logistics for attending industry tradeshows including booth set-up, marketing
material delivery, budget, and lead initiatives.

- Support the marketing
and promotion of AIA Contract Documents education offerings - Assist with the
communications and development of marketing campaigns to existing and potential
customers to drive usage and attendance of AIA Contract Documents education
offerings - Create course
registration landing pages on marketing automation platform and/or aia.org. - Handle
registration issues and process refunds for in-person courses and webinars - Create and
update webpages housing recorded webinars and educational resources - Assist in
researching education opportunities at tradeshows and other events

KSAs and Training and Experience:
- Must be detail-oriented, passionate about marketing operations and
demonstrate extensive experience using both marketing automation and CRM
platforms. - 1-3 years of experience in email marketing operations
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation software (Salesforce and
Marketo strongly required) - Basic HTML knowledge (Preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business preferred
with a minimum of 2-3 years of online marketing experience. Association
experience a plus.
