The Manager of Marketing Account Representatives, hires, trains, mentors, develops, and supervises marketing account representatives (MARs) and is responsible overall for the MAR team. The MAR team communicates with (or attempts to discover and/or develop) NextGen prospective customers to qualify the prospect as a Sales Lead for the NextGen sales team. The MAR fulfills these responsibilities through phone calls, e-mail and internet resources, but typically through a high volume of outbound telephone calls. The Manager of MARs also performs MAR activities as available – calls and emails.
