Sending multiple sample emails in one batch

Hi,

This may already be possible but I am finding the task sending a number of sample emails to check over each week extremely time consuming.

We send segmented emails based on skill and location everyweek, totalling around 20 (all of which go out on the same day each week)

I wanted to know if there was a 'select all' or similar functionality that allows me send myself and my boss the created sample emails for that week in one go, rather than selecting them all one by one. Although not the most arduous task in the world, having to do this every week (especially with edits to muliple emails) takes additonal time better spent on redoing the emails....

Hi Shaun,

We have an approval process and testing process at our company as well. What we have done is create a test and approval program then create a smart list and email asset for each eblast. You can create a list that consists of the people that you want to send the email to in the database, and create a static list. When you want to send another approval email again, you can just right click the program and clone it. 

The only problem with this, is that it mixes into your live campaigns. BUT I think with the proper naming convention that can still be managable. For example, all of our test and approval emails will begin with Test.type of program.YYYY-MM-DD

You can do this with emails that are dynamically segmented. You create a static list with the relevant leads that match the different segments (you can create dummy leads for this purpose). Then, after you've created your email and the different segmentation versions, you select "Preview Email", then "Select List" from the view/list drop down and select the static list you created. You'll now be able to see all the different segmentation versions that you created. Click on "Send Sample" add your emails (you and your boss) and tick the "Send variations from lead list" check box. This will send a copy of each segment version you have created to you and your boss to review.

I've assumed that the segmented emails you create are actually one (or two) emails and that you are using segmentations to create the different content. If so, then the above will work.

I still think this is an arduous task. We don't use segmentation for most of our emails so if I've created multiple programs and I need to test all the emails in those programs it would be nice to have a multiple select function in the tree so you could then right click and send sample.
