Schedule page approval

Schedule page approval

Many times a page will be ready before it is actually needed (in a perfect world right?). We should be able to schedule the approval of a page (new or updated draft) to avoid having to manually approve it at the right time. Like when there is a new product release and you don't want to show the update until a specific date and time due to legal release requirements.

Vote for this idea. I know a lot of people can make good use of a "scheduled approval" feature.

Good luck!

Ideally I'd also suggest to add this to the "Email Asset" so that you could schedule the launch of an updated version of an auto-email (e.g. new links available in product follow up email after the launch of a certain press release).

Great idea.  Another idea would be to have a schedule for the page to be public or live.  That way you can approve the changes in the page and view it internally (if logged into Marketo) and then have it become live at a later date (launch date).

Great suggestions!  Perhaps the control for this could live at the Program level since multiple assets could potentially need to go live at the same time (registration pages, confirmation pages, confirmation emails, Sales Insight invitation emails, etc.).

Elliot, That's a great point. But keep in mind that not all the pages live within programs. I have over 3,000 pages that live under the design studio, so my suggestion is that the new feature be included at the page configuration level. For that matter, scheduled approval could be done for not only pages but also Smart Campaign activations. This idea is specifically about the landing pages, but I think that would also be a great win.

Woot, woot!
