Journey Analyzer

Journey Analyzer

This idea is to formalize the various input in this thread.

We would a graphical tool that would represent how leads come into the system, what content (events, gated, web content, ...) they consume and the correlation with business outcomes (pipeline and revenue).

The tool would also be able to represent data for subset of leads (for instance one segment in a segmentation) so that we could analyze the journeys for various buyer personas or target segments.

Then, the tools might also use some IA/predictive to suggest some improvements to the journeys (such as introducing a content or changing the order).

Hi All, hi Greg,

It would be really great, if you could do that! I would be interested to get updates on all of these topics.

Thanks, Jakob.

We've been asking for this for quite a while now.  Fortunately, I've had a few calls with the Marketo PMs (specifically John Dictson) as they look to enhance/overhaul the lead activity/detail views - so it sounds like there's some traction here.  I specifically referenced a couple of existing posts/ideas here on the community that provide examples on how other platforms do this quite well - like Sitecore (and their Experience Profile (Customer Experience Profile, Personalization | Sitecore) - which provides a visual of all engagement, persona/profile data, latest events (e.g., campaigns they qualified for, programs they became members of, email activity, etc.).  To build on the visual engagement journey, it would be ideal if opportunity/win data could be overlayed on top of this to correlate marketing activity with pipeline data.

Hi Dan,

I fully support the ideas you are pointing to (and I voted for them a while ago, and even wrote one ).

This idea here is about a statistical view of the journey, together with some IA/predictive, so that a marketer can understand not one specific case, but rather masses and trends.
